The great outdoors moves indoors at the "Wildlife Festival & Adventure Show" in Simcoe in the heart of Ontario's South Coast. The two-day event is the kickoff to Spring Break and has been designed to provide an educational, entertaining environment for families and people of all ages.

Families can learn about the conservation of our environment while experiencing a vibrant array of many exciting events such as a working wildlife show and display by The Muskoka Wildlife Centre, a Birds of Prey show hosted by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy and a live Reptile Show & Display by Little Rays Reptile Zoo. Children of all ages can come to experience hands-on activities including free rock climbing, face painting, crafts and a student Art Competition hosted by our local wildlife artists. Come celebrate nature. See wildlife up close and witness a live tarantula, anacondas, birds of prey and other exotic wildlife. Examine their habitats, or for the less adventurous, check out the fossils, rocks and butterfly displays. Feel the atmosphere of the outdoors. Do some indoor rock climbing then come and enjoy a camp style lunch. There are also many exhibits for everyone to browse including taxidermy, astronomy, sporting, as well as a chance to enjoy the artistry of local wildlife artists. There is something for the whole family to experience and enjoy.

The Wildlife Festival & Adventure Show is the only event in the region that provides an eco-educational experience of this magnitude. This event has been thoroughly enjoyed by the young and young at heart alike since its inception in 2003. With increased interest from local businesses and organizations, combined with fabulous exhibits and demonstrations, the 2008 Wildlife Festival and Adventure show promises to be the biggest and best yet.
